It is still being worked out.
The $1 billion is a big boost to the economy, the White House said, and it would boost U.M. students by $30 billion in the first three years.
But critics say it’s a small price to pay for a president who’s had his priorities derailed by his past.
President Trump said the new package includes a “couple of billion” in cuts to federal programs, including Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare.
The president said in a statement Monday that the plan includes a new tax credit of up to $5,000 for working families to pay a portion of their income tax on their income.
It also provides $1,000 to people who earn more than $200,000 a year.
Trump and congressional leaders hope the package will help revive the U-M economy.
They say the $1bn in spending would help students with college tuition and other costs.
But the administration says the stimulus will only be effective for a few years, so it’s unlikely to be a long-term solution.
Congressional Republicans say they’re not going to approve a stimulus package unless they get a bigger tax cut.
They argue that’s the only way to boost the economy.
Democrats are calling for the spending to be financed by cuts to taxes and spending on social programs.
Republicans argue that such a large amount of spending, while not necessary, would be a necessary part of any stimulus package.
Democrats have called for the president to release details of the new stimulus.
He did so Monday, and Democrats have called on the administration to explain how it will pay for the stimulus.
The president says he’s still working out how to pay the tax cut and the stimulus spending, but he said Monday that he’s confident the plan will work.
The stimulus plan has been criticized by some Republicans.
They point out that it will cost the U of M up to a trillion dollars, with the tax cuts to be paid for by cutting other programs.
The plan also includes a $3.4 billion cut to Medicaid.
The White House says it is considering how the stimulus package would be financed, but will announce details later this month.
